Unlock Your Audition Potential: BIPOC Audition Workshop with Mary C. Parker

In advance of Tumbleweeds auditions, we’re offering a free audition workshop specifically for BIPOC individuals interested in performing. Led by Mary C. Parker, this supportive session will demystify the audition process, build confidence, and give you a chance to play, connect, and ask questions in a low-pressure environment. Whether you’re brand new to improv or just want to shake off nerves before auditioning, this workshop is designed to help you feel seen, supported, and ready. This will take place May 22, 6:30pm–9pm, at Theatre Puget Sound in Seattle Center. This workshop is free but space is limited — sign up to reserve your spot! Note: Registration for this workshop does not count as registration for Tumbleweeds auditions. Both must be registered for separately.

“Mary is amazing, and lead the audition workshop with clarity, empathy, and genuine insight and knowledge. There was never a time I felt confused or lost in what we wee doing and more importantly the why behind it. I felt supported and empowered to carry the work beyond the workshop. I was witness to two other individuals who took the workshop using what we learned and carrying the confidence the very next day. I can openly state that I will sign up enthusiastically for any event in the future where Mary is the lead.” - Jhordan Blumenberg, Improv and Sketch performer"
