January 30: Anti-Racism and Allyship in Academia

In January 2021 three different workshops will be offered on Anti-racism and Allyship in Academia Workshop led by Mary C. Parker, Michaela Gasteratou, and Anna Claire Walker. Registration opens on December 1.https://bit.ly/Jan21IDEARegistration. We are currently offering a discount on the first 5 Tickets. Just select 'discounted first 5 Tickets' from the list of tickets.

In this workshop series, participants will be invited to engage in practical and experiential learning on racism within higher education institutions (HEIs). After defining key terms, participants will be led through a series of activities in which multiple solutions can be explored for hypothetical or personal experiences. Participants will gain an understanding of the ways that structural racism affects institutional spaces, and be more informed to enter dialogues within structurally racist spaces. This workshop is for students and educators, and anyone else who wants to explore antiracism in academia.
